What’s happening in the stars this month?
February is the Aquarius season, so it is no surprise that we will have lots of Aquarian energy swirling all around us. Just one thing is different this year. Pluto’s recent move into Aquarius puts this eccentric sign’s shenanigans in the spotlight. It is going to be an extra intense time of the year, and more radical than what we are used to. Aquarius is a reformer, but Pluto is an extremist.
February 2, 2024:

A stimulating aspect between Mercury and Neptune promises a profusion of ideas pouring in, perhaps to the point of overwhelm. Mars forming a semi-square with Saturn serves as a reminder that we can do anything, but not everything we want. Choosing what we want to do is the challenge.
The Moon is in Scorpio, opposite Jupiter and trine to Saturn, reflecting that same energy in another way. Less is more, and focusing on fewer things can be more effective than trying to do too much at once.

This is a highly dynamic day. Mercury enters Aquarius and immediately conjuncts Pluto. Beware of getting into fundamentalist arguments. Mercury/Pluto can be passionate and uncompromising. Either dig deeper or take a broader perspective. There is always more than one point of view or way of doing things.
Chiron and Venus are also in focus. The aspects suggest the obstacles may be self-sabotage. If we recognise it, every challenge is a learning opportunity. Stop the blame game. Acceptance is the key to transformation. Pain is a symptom of resistance to change.

These aspects suggest that we might have to overcome resistance before we can embrace destiny. Venus likes her comfort and has a tendency to procrastinate. It seeks the path of least resistance instead of meeting challenges head-on and just getting on with it.

We are now in the run-up to the New Moon in Aquarius. Venus trines Uranus, which may bring a pleasant surprise. Or, it could signify a sudden urge to do something out of the ordinary.
February 8, 2024:

Mars is in goal-orientated Capricorn, and so is the Moon. Neptunian intuition gives us the edge. But not everybody welcomes unconventional approaches. Be prepared for a curveball.
February 9, 2024:

The New Moon in Aquarius is intense. The Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto are all in Aquarius, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, Chiron conjunct the north node and Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all in Earth signs. All planets are wedged between Venus in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus. It is time for a reality check. How well are your values and actions aligned? This is a good time to have a deep think about fundamental questions.

Whatever revelations we may have had on the New Moon, things are easier said than done. Having too many balls in the air can be frustrating and make us feel overwhelmed if things don’t flow. Don’t give up, but consider putting things that don’t matter right now on the back burner. Pick your battles and commit to achievable goals instead of trying to do too much and dropping the balls.

Language is a tool for communication, but that does not mean we understand each other. Words can both clarify and confuse. We construct our own versions of the world, different from everybody else’s. Misunderstandings are pre-programmed. Misunderstandings can be hurtful, but if we apply a transcendental Piscean perspective, we can gain insights beyond black and white and glimpse the bigger picture!

These next few days are intense, and it makes more sense to look at them together.
Mars enters Aquarius and immediately bumps into Pluto. Both planets are warriors and together, they might produce quite a bang.
Venus follows suit a couple of days later, and conjuncts Pluto on February 17, the same day Mercury squares Uranus. Hold on to your hats and be careful with your words. It would be prudent to stay away from trouble spots. The cosmic energies are highly volatile and unpredictable. There are also some sextiles, but their voices are likely to be drowned out.

The energy shifts, and there is an opportunity for healing. But healing is not a passive process. It is an active process of battling a healing crisis, a moment of truth that requires purging and dragging the demons into the light. A new understanding changes reality and lets us overcome those challenges.

We are now in the run-up to the Full Moon on February 24. Venus conjuncts Mars, a passionate aspect but not necessarily a peaceful one. Mercury enters Pisces and continues the process of integration started by the Sun just a couple of days before. The healing theme is fitting for the upcoming Full Moon in Virgo. The process is culminating. If we did the work, we are now ready to turn the page.
