This recipe incorporates several symbols of the Capricorn /goatfish stories, and it is also suitably festive and delicious.
- 6 figs, cut in half, length-wise
- Muscat (sweet dessert wine)
- Goat’s cheese
- Honey
- Balsamic Vinegar
Arrange the halved figs on a cookie sheet, cut side up.
Douse with Muscat and pop under the grill for about 5-6 minutes, until they begin to get soft and start to bubble up slightly.
Remove from the grill and top with goat cheese
Pop the tray under the grill for a few minutes until the cheese starts to melt.
Meanwhile, combine the Honey and Balsamic Vinegar.
When the cheese is soft and slightly browned, remove from the grill and serve warm with the honey/balsamic vinegar sauce.

Eat while still warm.
